About Toulouse Lautrec and Matisse:

Shortly after renting the 386 Fairhope Avenue art gallery space, Christine and Bob went to a cat rescue shelter in Atlanta, Georgia, and adopted two Persian cats for the gallery. Christine’s dream had always been to have a gallery large enough for a painting studio and a cat companion. And she suddenly had two beautiful cat greeters and the customers and children adore them. They sleep in the windows at night and entertain Fairhope visitors and residents alike.

The cats have been inspired artistically by daily exposure to art and have just completed their second successful art show of their own paintings. Complete with paw prints and exuberant tail swishing. Their newest venture is a book presented here, which tells of their unique Fairhope experiences as they learn about the local shop owners and stores and animals that inhabit downtown Fairhope. This book is a celebration of local color in Fairhope.

They are delighted to present their second book "Cat Tales II: A Beach Adventure". the story was told to mama christine through a series of conversations in the studio gallery with T.C and Lucy. It is illustrated by Christine Linson.
the people and events in this books are real and any likeness to the people of Fairhope is intentional and correct. this book is a celebration of local color in a small town, but probably reflects similarities to other small beach towns, people and places across our country.
